Help with what the psychiatrist said?

Hi guys. I am 24 years old and live in Edinburgh. I seen my psychiatrist yesterday for diagnosis.You see a few months ago i had a major depressive episode.Recently i experienced a manic episode.My pdoc put me on a mood stabiliser and i asked her do i have bipolar disorder and she said "Yes but the less severe form".She said it isn't Bipolar 1 as my manic episode wasn't severe enough to impair functioning or require hospitalisation.She said i had a hypomanic episode but not manic.Does this mean that i have Bipolar 2 then?
