Ok here is my situation.?

Lol The situation,this isn't the Jersey shore.But anyways yes if you manually add the songs to his i pod it will delete and there's no way to get them back,unless you check your trash can.To add the songs and keep the ones it has just check the new ones and keep a check mark on the old ones and sync!
