Plz help.......what does it mean "Bilateral polycystic ovaries".?

doc said my reports are gud but my hormone level is too low nd gave me susten 200mg she did three times scan but when i search on net i found only polycystic overies syndrome but in report they wrote only bilateral polycystic overies ,they both r different meaning or same i just want to know
