Guys opinions only please! when u first meet a guy......?

When u first meet a guy he acts all sweet n romantic n puts on a charm. Y is this??? They always make u think they'r sumthing their not. Then after a few months in the relationship........he turns out to be total opposite of wat he first made u think. Y do men do this? Thanks. :)
