WHAT is going on with this frog?
We see this question every so often, but usually more with captive animals and people being concerned about why the feeders are on their animal and their animal isn't showing any interest. Think about it like this: If you were just sitting in your room and someone tosses chicken on your head, is your first instinct to eat it? Probably not. You are first rather startled that something landed on your head, so you remain still so as not to be eaten should it be part of a potential predator. When it moves off you or into your eyesight, then you would move. But if it doesn't move, it may take quite a while. The frog is quite fine and the beetles quite lucky that they haven't been eaten.
