Name of song or artist?

The singer is a white guy but he sounds black, in the video which i barely remember, it seems he might be an east coast singer. The song is about the woman who choose the wrong guy, he has been waiting for her i believe. Its a pop or r&b genre, it played in CA on the radio about 2-4 years ago. The singer seemed to be in his late 20s or early 30s. It played on radio staion the Kost and maybe on Star 98.7. Sorry for lack of details. thanks for your help.
